Haryana CET 2023 : Main Exam Pattern
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will conduct the Group C Mains Exam for the candidates who qualify the Prelims Exam. The CET Haryana Group C Mains Exam will have three sections, which are Haryana GK with a weightage of 20%, Computers with a weightage of 10%, and the concerned subject with a weightage of 70%. That the questions in the Mains Exam will be focused on the specific subject that the candidate has applied for, with a significant emphasis on the knowledge of Haryana’s general knowledge and basic computer skills.
Haryana CET 2023 : Selection Process
To be eligible for the recruitment process, a candidate must score a minimum of 50% marks (for unreserved category) and 40% marks (for reserved category). The commission will call candidates whose names are in the merit list of CET Result to fill the vacancies for Group C & D posts.
The shortlisting criteria for candidates is based on the following factors:
- If the vacancy is less than 30, then five times the number of vacancies will be called for the recruitment process.
- Again If the vacancy is between 30 to 50, then 150 CET-qualified candidates will be called.
- If the vacancy is greater than 50, then the number of candidates called will be thrice the number of vacancies.

The Haryana State Government has stated that the scores of the HSSC CET will remain valid for a period of 3 years starting from the date of the declaration of the CET result. Within this validity period, candidates can apply for any post announced by the Haryana Government. The CET scores will be calculated as the marks obtained in the Common Eligibility Test, as well as the marks obtained in experience and socio-economic criteria.
