IIITDM Kancheepuram Recruitment 2023 : Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification :
- Assistant Professor Grade II – Ph.D. with 1 publication in a reputed SCI journal.
- Assistant Professor Grade II – Ph.D. with 1 accepted paper in a reputed SCI journal and 2 published papers or 1 patent based on Ph.D. work.
- Assistant Professor Grade I – Ph.D. with 3 years of relevant experience after Ph.D. or 6 years total (excluding Ph.D. enrollment period) after M.Tech. degree, 2 papers in SCI journals outside of Ph.D. work, ongoing sponsored project, 2 experiments or computational projects in teaching laboratories, and 1 ongoing Ph.D. supervision.
- Associate Professor – Ph.D. with 6 years of relevant experience after Ph.D. or 9 years total (excluding Ph.D. enrollment period), 4 papers in SCI journals after Ph.D., 1 guided Ph.D. with 1 ongoing, 2 ongoing projects or 1 ongoing plus 1 completed, 2 experiments or computational projects in teaching laboratories, and academic outreach activity equivalent to 2 self-financed short term courses.
- Professor – Ph.D. with 10 years of relevant experience after Ph.D. or 13 years total (excluding Ph.D. enrollment period) with 4 years at the Associate Professor level, 2 guided Ph.D. degrees, 3 papers in SCI Journals, 1 high-value sponsored or consultancy project, academic outreach activity equivalent to 2 self-financed courses, and 2 experiments or computational design projects in teaching laboratories.
Age Limit :
- For Assistant Professor Grade II, the maximum age limit is 35 years.
- For Assistant Professor Grade II, the maximum age limit is 40 years.
- For Assistant Professor Grade I, the maximum age limit is 45 years.
- For Associate Professor, the maximum age limit is 45 years.
- For Professor, the maximum age limit is 50 years.

The selection process includes two or three phases,
- A written test (for pay level 10 and 11),
- A seminar presentation (for all pay levels 10, 11, 12, 13A2, 14A),
