The Agniveer 2023 Recruitment process for female candidates in the Indian Army has begun. Eligible women candidates who wish to apply for the Agniveer General Duty position in the Corps of Military Police can now complete their registration on the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in.

The registration process is currently open and will conclude on 15th March 2023, which is the deadline for women interested in the firefighter position. Unmarried women aged between 17.5 and 21 years old are qualified to apply for various positions available under the Agniveer Recruitment program.

Age Limit 

  • The eligibility criteria for Soldier General Duty is as follows: Minimum Age: 17 years and 6 months to 21 years
  • Age Limit: Applicants must have been born between October 1, 2002, and April 1, 2006.

Qualification

  • To be eligible for the position, the candidate must have passed Class 10th / Matric with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and at least 33% marks in each subject.
  • For boards that follow a grading system, a minimum of ‘D’ grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% marks are required.
