- According to the 2023 notification by IRCTC, candidates belonging to the UR category should not be above 28 years of age.
- However, as per government guidelines, applicants from SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman categories may be eligible for age relaxation.
IRCTC Educational Qualification:
- To be eligible to apply, candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in the relevant discipline.
- They may have completed a Full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a Central or State Institute of Hotel Management (PIHM/SIHM/CIHM) affiliated with NCHM and AICTE/UGC/CT/Government of India.
- Or BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism, a B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science from Government-recognized universities affiliated withAICTE/UGC/Government of India or State Government.
- Or MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Government-recognized universities affiliated with UGC/AICTE/Government of India or State Government.
