Qualification

Candidates Must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.

Physical Standards

Height:

• For General Candidates : Male; 170 cm, Female; 157cm
• Candidates have been born in categories of  Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates belonging to the State of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Kashmir Region of UT Jammu & Kashmir & UT Ladakh: Male; 165 cm, Female; 155 cm
• Candidates belong to NE States: Male: 162.5 cm, Female: 152.5 cm
• For ST Candidates: Male: 162.5 cm, Female: 150 cm
• For ST Candidates of NE States & LWE affected areas: Male; 157 cm, Female; 147.5 cm

Chest:

• General Candidates: Unexpanded 80 cm & Expanded 85 cm
• Candidates from Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates belonging to the State of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Kashmir Region of UT Jammu & Kashmir & UT Ladakh: Unexpanded 78 cm; Expanded 83 cm
• Candidates from NE States: Unexpanded 77 cm; Expanded 82 cm
• All ST Candidates: Unexpanded 76 cm; Expanded 81 cm
• ST candidates from NE States & LWE (Left Wing Extremism) affected areas: Unexpanded 76 cm; Expanded 81 cm

Eye Sight: 

• Without any correction such as wearing spectacles or lenses, the minimum distance vision requirement for both eyes shall be 6/6, 6/9.
