The NTA invited eligible candidates interested in the JEE (Main)-2023 exam details to apply through a notification release. The notification provides important information regarding the exam, including eligibility requirements, application fees, and exam dates. The deadline for submitting the online application is March 16th, 2023, by 10:50 PM, and the deadline for fee payment is March 16th, 2023, by 11:50 PM.

Application Fee

The fees required for Paper I B.E./B.Tech, Paper 2A B.Arch, and Paper 2B B.Planning are as follows and must be paid by the candidates:

In India:

  • General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) (Male): Rs. 1000/-
  • General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) (Female): Rs. 800/-
  • SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender (Male or Female): Rs. 500/-

Outside India:



  • General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) (Male): Rs. 5000/-
  • General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) (Female): Rs. 4000/-
  • SC/ST/PwD (Male or Female): Rs. 1500/-

Third Gender: Rs. 3000/-

For Paper I B.E./B.Tech & II B.Arch or Paper 1 B.E./B.Tech & Paper 2B B.Planning or Paper 1 B.E./B.Tech, Paper 2A B.Arch & Paper 2B B.Planning or Paper 2A B.Arch & Paper 2B B.Planning, the fees are:

In India:



  • General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) (Male): Rs. 2000/-
  • General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) (Female): Rs. 1600/-
  • SC/ST/PwD (Male, Female & Third Gender): Rs. 1000/-

Outside India:

  • General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) (Male): Rs. 10000/-
  • General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) (Female): Rs. 8000/-
  • SC/ST (Male, Female)/PwD/Transgender: Rs.5000/-

The candidates can pay the fees through Credit card/Debit card/Net banking/UPI and PAYTM service. The candidates are required to pay applicable processing charges and Goods & Service Taxes (GST).

JEE Main 2023 Session II Important Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the important dates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for the year 2023. Here are the revised dates for Session I, Session II, and Session II Re-Open:



 January 2023 (Session I) Dates:

  • Apply Online starting date: 15-12-2022
  • Final day to fill out the online application: January 12th, 2023, at 9:00 PM.
  • Final deadline for completing the payment of the designated application fee: January 12th, 2023, at 11:50 PM.
  • City of Examination Announcement: Second week of January 2023
  • Admit Cards Downloading from NTA website: Third week of January 2023
  • Exam date: 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 January 2023
  • Session I Answer Key Downloading date: To be displayed on the NTA website
  • Result Declaration date: To be displayed on the NTA website
  • Exam Date for JEE (Mains) Session-I: 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 January and 1 February 2023 for B.E./B.Tech (Paper I) & 28 January (2nd Shift) for B.Arch
  • and B.Planning (Paper 2A & Paper 2B)

 (April 2023) Session II Dates:

  • Apply Online starting date: 07-02-2023
  • Deadline to Apply Online: 07-03-2023, by 9:00 PM.
  • Deadline for payment of Application Fee: 07-03-2023, by 11:50 PM.
  • City of Examination Announcement: Third week of March 2023
  • Admit cards can be downloaded from NTA’s website in late March 2023.
  • Exam date: 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 April 2023
  • Session II Answer Key Downloading date: To be displayed on the NTA website
  • Result Declaration date: To be displayed on the NTA website

  • Apply Online starting date: 15-02-2023
  • Deadline for online application: 12-03-2023, 09:00 PM.
  • Deadline for paying application fee: 12-03-2023, 11:50 PM.
  • Exam date: 06, 08, 10, 11, 12 April 2023 (Reserve dates – 13, 15 April 2023)
  • Correction dates: 13 & 14-03-2023

Session II Re-Open Dates:

Age Limit

  • There is no age restriction for appearing in the JEE Mains 2023 Exam.

Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed the 12th or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022 or should be appearing in 2023.

JEE Main Season 2 Exam Date 2023

Over 1.2 million candidates are scheduled to participate in the JEE Main Season 2 examination, which is set to occur on April 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th of 2023. All the students are eagerly awaiting the exam, which will be conducted online. The organizers have scheduled the exam on different dates and will provide separate sets of questions for each exam.
