NLC India Recruitment 2023 : Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification :
- For the position of Industrial Trainee, candidates should have completed a full-time diploma in engineering, which should have a minimum duration of 3 years.
- For the position of Industrial Trainee in Mines & Mines Support Services, candidates with ITI certification in trades such as Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Welding, MMV, Diesel Mechanic, Tractor Mechanic, Civil, Foundry, or Cable Jointing, along with NAC certification, are eligible.
Age Limit :
- The utmost age limit for candidates belonging to the UR/EWS category is 37 years.
- The utmost age limit for candidates in the OBC (NCL) category is 40 years.
- The utmost age limit for candidates in the SC/ST category is 42 years.
NLC India Recruitment 2023 : Selection process
- The applicants for the training program will be chosen by the selection committee based on a written examination.
- They will make the final selection based on the total number of points garnered by each candidate throughout the entire selection process. The selection procedure will also ensure that candidates from the SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS categories are appropriately reserved.
- In the event of a tie at the cut-off level, where multiple candidates have scored the same number of points (out of 100), the committee will give preference to the candidate with the eldest date of birth.
- If the stalemate persists, the committee will rank the candidates by their first names in alphabetical order.

Industrial Trainee [Specialised Mining Equipment (SME) Operations]:
- 1st year: Salary of INR 18,000 per month
- 2nd year: Salary of INR 20,000 per month
- 3rd year: Salary of INR 22,000 per month
Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines Support Services):
- 1st year: Salary of INR 14,000 per month
- 2nd year: Salary of INR 16,000 per month
- 3rd year: Salary of INR 18,000 per month
