Title: Download Admit Card for NTA UGC NET December 2022 Phase I Exam



The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently announced the release of UGC NET (University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test) December 2022 examination admit card. As of today, Phase-I admit cards have been made available for download on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in for 57 subjects. Students who have been eagerly waiting for the admit card can now access it from the aforementioned website.

Application Fee

  • General/ Unreserved: Rs. 1100/-
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC) – Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Rs. 550/-
  • SC/ ST/ PwD/ Third Gender: Rs. 275/-
  • To pay the fee, applicants can use the Payment Gateway(s) that are integrated into the Online Application system through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.

Important Dates

  • Date Of Apply Applying: 29-12-2022 from 05:00 PM
  • Last Date Of Applying : 23-01-2023 up to 05:00 PM
  • The last date for online application is 23-01-2023 until 05:00 PM. The last date for successful transaction of examination fee via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI Payment Modes is also 23-01-2023 until 05:00 PM.
  • The online exam will be conducted from 21/02/2023 to 10/03/2023, and the intimation of cities of exam centers will be provided in the first week of February 2023.
  • Online Exam Date: 21/02/2023 to 10/03/2023
  • Intimation of Cities of exam centres: First week of the February 2023
  • Candidates can download their admit card from the NTA website in the second week of February 2023.
  • The duration of the examination will be 180 minutes (03 hours) without any break between Paper 1 & Paper 2.
  • The timing of the examination will be in two shifts, i.e., the first shift will be from 09.00 am to 12.00 pm, and the second shift will be from 03.00 pm to 06.00 pm.
  • The exam center, date, and shift will be indicated on the admit card.
  • The display of recorded responses and provisional answer keys on the website for inviting challenge(s) from interested candidates will be announced later on the website, and the declaration of the result on the NTA website will also be announced later on the website
  • The Phase I exam date is from 21-02-2023 to 24-02-2023.
  • Phase I Exam Date: 21 to 24-02-2023

Age Limit

  • The maximum age limit for JRF is 30 years, which is to be calculated as of the 1st day of the month in which the examination concludes, i.e., 01.02.2023.
  • Applicants can apply for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor without any upper age limit.
  • As per the rules, age relaxation will be provided.

Qualification

  • Candidates are required to have a Master’s degree or an equivalent examination from universities or institutions that have been recognized by UGC.
