- Candidates who qualify in the written exam are then called for a Service Selection Board (SSB) Test/Interview, which is of 5 days duration and carries a maximum of 300 marks.
- The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in both the written exam and the SSB Test/Interview.
B) For admission to Officers’ Training Academy:
- The written exam consists of two papers: English and General Knowledge, each of 2 hours duration and a maximum of 100 marks.
- The total duration of the written exam is 4 hours, and the total marks are 200.
- Candidates who qualify in the written exam are then called for a Service Selection Board (SSB) Test/Interview, which is of 5 days duration and carries a maximum of 300 marks.
The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in both the written exam and the SSB Test/Interview.

To download the UPSC CDS Admit Card 2023, candidates can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
- Click on the “Admit Card” link on the homepage.
- On the next page, click on the link for “UPSC CDS Admit Card 2023”.
- A new page will open, where the candidate needs to enter either their Registration ID or Roll Number.
