CDS II 2022 Selection Process
- The CDS Written Exam is the first stage of the examination, where candidates have to appear for an MCQ-based paper in subjects like English, General Knowledge, and Maths. The duration of the exam is 2 hours, and candidates must clear the minimum cut-off to qualify for the next stage.
- The second stage is the Service Selection Board Interview (SSB), which is a 5-day long process. SSB assigns several tasks to the candidates to complete in those five days, including Picture Perfection, Officer Intelligence Rating, GTO, and Description Test. The main interview is scheduled for the last day.
- Once a candidate clears both stages of the CDS Exam, he/she will be called for Medical Tests based on their vision, hearing ability, etc.
- The UPSC releases the Merit list for the CDS Exam on the official website. The names of the shortlisted candidates will be called for further training process.
