Under the National One Health Mission, who is introducing the "Animal Pandemic Preparedness Initiative (APPI)"?

The Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Shri Parshottam Rupala, has unveiled two major initiatives on April 14th, 2023.

These include the Animal Pandemic Preparedness Initiative (APPI) and the Animal Health System Support for One Health (AHSSOH) project, which is financially backed by the World Bank.

The event to introduce these initiatives will be held at the India Habitat Center in New Delhi and will be conducted under the National One Health Mission.
