During the financial year 2021-22 (FY22), India's agricultural product exports have crossed the milestone of USD 50 billion for the first time, thanks to notable growth in exports of sugar, rice, wheat, and other cereals.
As per provisional figures released by the Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence and Statistics (DGCI&S), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, agricultural exports surged to USD 50.21 billion in 2021-22, indicating a growth rate of 19.92%.
