What is the name of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) that is intending to establish its inaugural overseas campus in Tanzania?

IIT Madras has announced plans to set up the first Indian Institute of Technology in Africa, which will be located in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

The new campus is scheduled to commence classes in October and will serve as IIT Madras' maiden overseas campus. During his speech at IIT Madras' 64th Institute Day, V Kamakoti, the institute's director revealed the plans for the new campus.

In February, a delegation of five professors from IIT Madras visited Tanzania to hold discussions with officials regarding the establishment of the campus.
