Jammu & Kashmir Tourism has been selected by the India Today Tourism Survey to receive the award for the best adventure tourism.
The award ceremony took place in New Delhi and was presented by the Union Minister of State for Culture & Parliamentary Affairs, Arjun Ram Meghwal.
The J&K Tourism Department received the award in acknowledgement of its endeavors to promote Gulmarg as a leading adventure destination worldwide.
The award was accepted by Deputy Director of Tourism, Alyas Ahmad, on behalf of the department.
