1) Dileep Sanghani has been appointed as the 17th Chairman of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) by the board of directors, succeeding Balvinder Singh Nakai, who passed away on October 11, 2021. Sanghani, who was the vice-chairman of IFFCO since 2019, was unanimously elected as the new Chairman.
2) He is a senior co-operator from Gujarat and currently serves as the chairman of the Gujarat State Cooperative Marketing Federation Ltd. (GUJCOMASOL) since 2017.
3) Sanghani has held various portfolios in the Gujarat government, including agriculture, cooperation, animal husbandry, fisheries, cow-breeding, prison, excise, law and justice, legislative and parliamentary affairs.
