Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualification required for applying to RRB Group D 2023 is a 10th pass or ITI pass from a recognized board or institution. The institutions must be recognized by NCVT, SCVT, or equivalent, or have a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC), which is granted by NCVT.

The minimum age limit is 18 years
The maximum age limit is 33 years

Exam Pattern

Written Test

The RRB Group D exam will be an objective-type multiple-choice question (MCQ), and each question will contain one mark. After qualifying for the examination, candidates will be eligible for the next phase of the selection process. The exam pattern for RRB Group D is given here.

The RRB Group D 2023 exam will be a computer-based Test (CBT).
RRB Group D 2023 exam will be 100 question and each question will be one mark.
The total time duration of the RRB Group D exam will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
There will be a negative marking of 1/3 for each incorrect answer.
The exam duration for PWD candidates is 120 Minutes.

1-Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Male:

The candidate should be able to carry 35 kg of weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes.
The candidate should be able to run 1000 meters in 4 minutes.

Female:

The candidate should be able to carry 20 kg of weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes and 15 seconds.
The candidate should be able to run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

2-Document Verification and Medical Test

After qualifying the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the candidates will go to the next stage of document verification. In this verification, the candidate shows their entire educational certificate and marksheet on the document verification day.
