AFCAT 1 2023 Result Date

  • The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 2023 was successfully conducted by the Indian Air Force on February 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2023.
  • The AFCAT 1 2023 results are expected to be declared in March.
  • Candidates who have cleared the AFCAT will be selected for Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches for courses commencing in January 2024. For more information

To check the AFCAT 1 2023 result, follow the steps given below:

  1. Visit the official website of the Indian Air Force at afcat.cdac.in.
  2. Look for the AFCAT 1 2023 Result in the What’s New section on the Home Page.
  3. Click on the link and enter your email ID and password when prompted.
  4. Enter the captcha as asked.
  5. Once you have successfully logged in, your result will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download and take a printout of your result for future reference.

The Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) is the second phase of the exam.

  • Candidates who clear the written exam will receive call letters for the AFSB Interview round.
  • Selected candidates will be required to attend one of the Air Force Selection Board centers.
  • This phase is a five-day process during which candidates will be evaluated on various intellectual and mental tasks.
  • The final day of the process will be dedicated to the interview round. Candidates will be assessed based on their overall performance in all the tasks.
  • Those who have applied for NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Branch will be directly called for AFSB testing at one of the AFSB centers.

  • Candidates appearing for the SSB are recommended to prioritize their physical fitness
  • and overall health as they prepare for the various tests at AFSB.
  • It is suggested that candidates strive to meet specific benchmarks such as running
  • 1 mile (1.6 km) within 10 minutes,
  • performing 10 push-ups,
  • and executing 3 chin-ups.
Training of AFCAT

  • The Air Force Academy Dundigal (Hyderabad) has announced
  • that training for all courses in AFCAT 2023 will begin in the first week of January 2024.
  • The training period for the Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches is expected to be around 74 weeks,
  • while that for the Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches is anticipated to be approximately 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments.
  • Candidates joining the AFA are required to possess a PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, and an account in SBI or any Nationalized Bank. Additionally, an Aadhaar Card is mandatory for registration.
