This test will provide an opportunity for candidates to gain admission to Diploma Courses in Engineering/Engineering (Lateral Entry)/Non-Engineering courses offered at various Polytechnics/Institutions (including Government/Aided and Unaided Polytechnics/Institutions) across the state of Odisha for the academic year 2023-2024. Admissions to these courses will be based on the candidates’ merit in the qualifying examinations (10th/12th). Application Fee:
- The application fee for SC/ST/Female candidates is Rs. 200/-
- The application fee for male candidates is Rs. 300/-

For Semester 1:
- Online application process starts on 17-04-2023 and ends on 17-05-2023.
- Medical standard certificate selection for physically challenged candidates will be conducted from 18-05-2023 to 20-05-2023.
- Verification and seat allotment will take place on 29-05-2023.
- Provisional seat allotment will be published on 30-05-2023.
For Semester 2:
- Online application process starts on 17-04-2023 and ends on 31-05-2023.
- Medical standard certificate selection for physically challenged candidates will be conducted from 01-06-2023 to 02-06-2023.
- Verification and seat allotment will take place on 13-06-2023.
- Provisional seat allotment will be published on 14-06-2023.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Details:
Diploma in Engineering & Technology (3-Years):
The candidate must have passed the 10th class (HSC) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks from any recognized Board or its equivalent.
Age limit: Not below 14 years as of 01.01.2023.
Two-year Diploma in Engineering courses with lateral entry into the second year:
The candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM OR 10+2 with Vocational OR 10th + (2 years ITI) with the appropriate Trade from any recognized Board or its equivalent.
Age limit: Not below 14 years as of 01.01.2023.
Modern Office Management (MOM) (3-Years):
Candidates must clear the 10+2 examination from CHSE, Odisha or an equivalent examination in Science, Arts, Commerce, or Vocational stream recognized by CHSE, Odisha to be eligible for admission.
Age limit: Not below 16 years as of 01.01.2023.
Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HM&CT) (3-Years):
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from CHSE, Odisha, or an equivalent examination in Science, Arts, Commerce, or Vocational stream recognized by CHSE, Odisha.
Age limit: Not below 16 years as of 01.01.2023.
Diploma in Pharmacy (2-Years):
The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject from any recognized Board or its equivalent.
Beauty Culture (3-Years):
The candidate must have passed the 10th class (HSC) or equivalent examination from any recognized Board or its equivalent.
