Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification
The aspirants must hold a 2nd Class Mining Engineering Degree from a recognized Indian university. The applicant must possess one of the following qualifications in addition to being proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Odia.
- passed the middle school exam with Odia as a topic in the language
- passed the Matriculation or equivalent test using Odia as the language of instruction in a subject other than the language
- passed the Class VII final exam with an Odia language score from a school or educational institution accredited by the Central Government or the Government of Odisha
- passed the School & Mass Education Department’s test for the Middle English School Standard in Odia
Age Limit
As of May 1, 2023, a candidate must be at least 21 years old and not older than 38 years old. The age exemptions for applicants from the reserved category are listed below.
- SEBC/ SC/ ST/ Women & Ex-Servicemen – 5 years
- Persons with Disabilities Who Are Hard of Hearing – 10 years
