Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil, representing India, emerged victorious in the men's 10m air rifle event at the ISSF World Cup 2023 held in Cairo.
He secured the gold medal by defeating Germany's Maximilian Ullbrich with a score of 16-8 in the final match. Patil managed to qualify for the ranking round after finishing seventh in the qualification round with 629.3 points.
He went on to top the ranking round with 262.0 points, setting up a final face-off with Ulbrich. Croatia's Miran Maricic, who secured the top spot in qualification, won the bronze medal. Unfortunately, Divyansh Singh Panwar and Hriday Hazarika missed the cut for the ranking rounds and finished in the 11th and 12th positions, respectively.
