The foundation stone of a ₹450 crore nano urea plant and township of the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) in Deoghar, Jharkhand was laid by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
This plant will be the fifth of its kind in India, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the world's first nano urea plant in Gujarat in 2021. According to Amit Shah, the use of Nano Urea will benefit farmers and it has already been exported to five countries.
