The government of Uttar Pradesh has introduced the 'Family ID - One Family One Identity' portal to identify families as a single unit for the implementation of the 'one job per family' proposal.
The state government has reported that all families that are ineligible for the National Food Security Scheme will be able to obtain the ID, and those with a ration card ID will have their family ID considered as such.
