Rohit Sharma led the way by scoring his ninth Test century, which made him the first Indian captain to achieve the feat of scoring centuries in all formats of the game.
This milestone was accomplished in the first Test of the four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia, at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Jamtha, Nagpur.
It was Rohit's first hundred in the longest format of the game. He now joins the exclusive company of three other captains, namely Tillakaratne Dilshan from Sri Lanka, Faf du Plessis from South Africa, and Babar Azam from Pakistan, who have also scored centuries in all three formats of the game.
