  • Karnataka
  • Goa
  • Gujurat
Answer- A
1)Digital University Kerala (DUK) and the Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) in Thrissur will collaborate to establish India's first Graphene Innovation Centre in Kerala at a cost of Rs 86.41 crore. The centre will serve as the country's first Graphene Research and Development (R&D) incubation centre, with Tata Steel Limited serving as its industrial partner.

2)Graphene is renowned for its exceptional electrical and electronic properties, and according to recent studies, it has the potential to replace indium, reducing the cost of OLED (organic light-emitting diode) screens in smartphones. Graphene is chemically stable, has high electrical conductivity, a broad surface area, and is both transparent and lightweight.
