Mahavir Singh Phogat, a renowned wrestler and coach, has been selected as the new Chairman of the MMA-1 Federation which is responsible for promoting mixed martial arts
(MMA) in India.
In his role as Chairman, Phogat aims to develop and popularize MMA in the country, with particular emphasis on identifying and nurturing promising young athletes in the sport.
The invitation to assume the chairmanship was extended to Phogat by Mohamedali Budhwani, President of the MMA1 Federation, and he graciously accepted.
