NPCIL Recruitment 2023 : Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates who have completed their 8th grade, 10+2 (12th grade) or an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) program in the relevant field are eligible to apply for the NPCIL Trade Apprentice Posts.
- For example, if a candidate is interested in applying for an electrician trade apprenticeship, they should have completed their 8th grade, 10+2 or ITI program in electrical trade. Similarly, if a candidate is interested in a fitter trade apprenticeship, they should have completed their 8th grade, 10+2 or ITI program in the fitter trade.
Age Limit :
- Candidates who are at least 16 years old are eligible to apply for the NPCIL Trade Apprentice Posts.
- However, the maximum age limit for candidates is 24 years.
- That candidates who are 24 years or older are not eligible to apply for these posts.
NPCIL Recruitment 2023 : Stipend
- NPCIL Trade Apprentice will receive a monthly stipend during their training period. The amount of stipend that the apprentices will receive depends on their experience and qualifications.
- Apprentices who have completed their ITI course and have been engaged after one year of the course will receive a minimum stipend of Rs. 7,700/- per month. On the other hand, apprentices who have completed their ITI course and have been engaged within one year of the course will receive a stipend of Rs. 8,855/- per month.

NPCIL Recruitment 2023 : Selection Process
- The NPCIL will evaluate the applications submitted by the candidates and shortlist them based on their ITI marks and trade competency. To ensure that they have the required knowledge and skills to undergo the training and gain practical experience in the trade.
- The trade competency refers to the candidates’ practical skills and ability to perform tasks related to the trade. The NPCIL may conduct a trade competency test or evaluate the candidates’ previous work experience in the relevant trade to determine their competency.
