The Gujarat Legislative Assembly has approved a Bill aimed at preventing paper leaks in government recruitment exams, which mandates up to 10 years imprisonment for offenders.
The Bill, named Gujarat Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Bill, 2023, was presented by Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi and received unanimous support from both the opposition Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
