Which individual or entity initiated the 'iDEX Investor Hub' (iIH), which has already garnered pledges of over Rs 200 crores from prominent investors in India?

During the annual defense innovation event 'Manthan' as part of Aero India 2023, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 'iDEX Investor Hub' (iIH), which has already received pledges of more than Rs 200 crores from leading Indian investors.


Additionally, he also launched the ninth edition of 'Defence India Startup Challenges (DISC 9)' on "Cybersecurity". Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) is the Department of Defence Production's flagship initiative, aimed at promoting defense innovation by start-ups and other such entities. The 'iDEX Investor Hub' is expected to expedite investment in the Defense sector by providing investors with a consolidated view of opportunities and innovations.
