K Satyanarayana Raju has been appointed as the new Managing Director and CEO of Canara Bank by the Union Government, effective immediately.
He will succeed L V Prabhakar, who left the post on December 31, 2022. Raju started his career with the former Vijaya Bank in 1988 and eventually became Chief General Manager in Bank of Baroda. His expertise has resulted in the digital transformation of banking products and services.
