The All India Women's Folk Art Conference, which will coincide with International Women's Day on March 8, 2023, is set to take place at the Ravindra Natya Mandir in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Akademi, Government of India, and P. L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy, Government of Maharashtra.

Dr. Sandhya Purecha, Chairman of Sangeet Natak Akademi, who presides over the W20 group, which is similar to the G20, will be leading the event.

The conference will feature the presentation of traditional folk art by women from various Indian states. The event will be inaugurated by Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
