Answer- D
According to the Indian Constitution, India does not have a national language of its own. However, the official language of the Union is Hindi in Devanagari script, as stated in Article 343.

Additionally, Article 343(3) allows Parliament to provide for the use of the English language. The Constitution initially recognized 14 languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Marathi, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Sindhi was added by the 21st Amendment Act of 1967, and Konkani, Nepali, and Manipuri were included by the 71st Amendment Act of 1992. Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, and Santhali were added by the 92nd Amendment Act of 2003.
